Degreasers Designed for Demanding Applications
All of our degreasers are water-based aqueous but are formulated for many different applications. Learn the differences and find documentation here.

Heavy Duty Degreaser is a water-based aqueous degreaser that is safe for use in a wide variety of industrial settings. It removes organic buildup and protects with a built-in rust inhibitor. It works in many types of recirculating, heated, and ultrasonic parts washers. It is used in high-pressure washing such as in commercial airlines, or industrial and municipal truck and bus fleets. It also works great in high-pressure washing of parking lots and structures. With its various certifications, Heavy Duty Degreaser is one of the most environmentally responsible ways to clean.

Storm Ultra is a water-based aqueous degreaser that cleans at temperatures up to 140°F / 60°C without foaming. It is safer to use on aluminums and soft metals than traditional harsh sodium hydroxide powders.

Xtreme II water-based aqueous degreaser is a heavy oil cleaner found primarily at oil and gas operations, oil refineries, and oil well sites cleaning heavy paraffinic and bituminous solids in oils. It is also used in high-pressure washing of large industrial equipment and parts washers cleaning heavier oils and greases.

Max XT water-based aqueous degreaser is our strongest cleaner. It is environmentally responsible and does not contain hazardous solvents, caustics, butyls, or phosphates. It effectively cleans coker charge, asphalt tar, paraffin, drag reduction agents, crude oil, and tenacious soils.

121 KleenRoom floor cleaner is a water-based aqueous degreaser cleaner that cleans the toughest grease, oils, and grime off floors. It leaves no residue. It is ideal for printing press shops, automotive repair shops, and manufacturing floors. It works with most commercial floor cleaning machines and wastewater processing systems.

221 KleenRoom floor cleaner is a water-based aqueous degreaser cleaner designed to clean grease, oil, ink, and coolants from flooring surfaces. It is safe to use in both walk-behind and riding floor scrubbers and can be treated like water in most cases.

The Four Important Aspects of Cleaning

Concentration: Most aqueous cleaning technologies are designed to be diluted with water to deliver cost savings.
Often, the more concentrated (also described as less dilute) the product used, the better the cleaning efficiency.
This is usually the case with Water Works™ by Keteca Heavy Duty Degreaser. However, some applications will require a less concentrated (more dilute) solution for better performance, i.e. ultrasonic applications.

Agitation: The addition of kinetic energy (movement) to the cleaning process aids any cleaning activity. Common forms of agitation includes brushing, scrubbing, wiping, spraying, or even a flow of fluid across a surface.

Time: The longer the cleaning solution remains in contact with the soil, the more cleaning efficiency you will get from the cleaner. This is commonly called the dwell time.

Temperature: As in the case of kinetic energy, the addition of caloric energy (heat) can make cleaning more efficient. As with any water-based cleaner, including your washing machine or dishwasher at home, warmer water will improve cleaning performance.
